Caplin Point Laboratories and China-based Hainan Jointown Pharm signed a joint venture agreement to establish a company named Hainan Jointown Caplinpoint Pharmaceutical Company Limited.

Suven Life Sciences announced grant of product patents in New Zealand and Sri Lanka which are valid through 2034 and 2031, respectively. The stock of Suven surged more than 2 per cent after bouncing back from 50 per cent retracement in the previous session.

The markets on September 14, 2018 opened gap up. BSE Sensex is trading at 37,947.84, down by 229.88 points and the Nifty is trading at 11,463.15, down by 93.25 points. 

Stocks that were forever punished for being sugar producers saw immense active following the hike of ethanol prices by the central government. During Friday morning session, stocks of several sugar players were up from more than 5 per cent to upto 20 per cent.
