The central government on Thursday brought down petrol and diesel prices by Rs 2.50. For the same, the government has asked oil marketing companies (OMCs) to absorb Re. 1 per litre to bring down fuel prices. 

Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) produced the largest quantity of steel till date of 1.3 million tonnes in Q2FY19, registering a growth of 46 per cent on a YoY basis. The company also posted an exceptional sales performance of 1.27 million tonnes during the period, thereby improving sales figures by 53 per cent on a YoY basis.

Security and Intelligence Services India (SIS) has been awarded a three-year contract valued at around Rs. 300 crore to provide security solutions to 47 facilities of Cognizant Technologies located across India.

The markets on October 04, 2018 opened flat. BSE Sensex is trading at 35,182.57, down by 793.06 points and the Nifty is trading at 10,615.40, down by 242.85 points.
