Hyderabad-based Laurus Labs, a leading R&D-driven pharmaceutical company in India, has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Global Fund for the tenure of 3.5 years.

The said patent would help the company in manufacturing fabric for bath and bed products without the usage of chemically harmful fibers. It also allows the fabric to dry easily. This would bring new opportunities and drive the revenue as bath and bed products which are the highest contributors to the company’s total revenue.

Pennar Industries plans to scale up the number of retail outlets for its branded building products. The company's retail stores for building products is called ‘Build360’. The company plans to increase its total store count from 11 to 42 by 2020.

The benchmark indices BSE Sensex and Nifty50 again surprised in the last leg of trading on Tuesday with a 400 point jump. Sensex closed at 38,233.41, up by 424.50 points or 1.12 per cent and Nifty50 was at 11,493.65, up by 139.40 points or 1.23 per cent. While Bank Nifty was again close to 30,000 level.

Lupin Limited's, through its Japanese subsidiary Kyowa Pharmaceutical, has received an approval to manufacture and sell their biosimilar Etanercept in Japan, said a company release on Friday. The drug is used to treat Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis.
