Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers has started the operations of Ammonia, Urea and ABC plants after the maintenance activities undertaken annually. The shares were trading in green.

Automobile major Tata Motors witnessed a decline of about 3.5 per cent on the bourses on Monday as its wholly-owned subsidiary Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) reported of a decline of 5.8 per cent in sales for FY19.

Zydus Cadila informed the bourses that it has received the tentative USFDA approval to market Lacosamide Tablets in the US market. The said tablets are used to prevent and control seizures. It works by reducing the spread of seizure activity in the brain.

The benchmark index BSE Sensex slid more than 300 points and was near its day's low in the post-lunch session on Monday. The dip can be attributed to the agriculture and rural-focused BJP election manifesto.
