On Friday as well, the markets indicated bearish investor sentiments as Sensex ends below 51,000, declining by 434.93 points or 0.85 per cent to settle at 50,889.76 levels while Nifty fell by 137.20 points or 0.91 per cent to close at 14,981.75 levels.   

On Thursday, Sensex declined by 379.14 points or by 0.73 per cent to close at 51,324.69 levels while Nifty fell by 0.59 per cent or 89.95 per cent to settle at 15,118.95 levels. 

The domestic markets remained volatile during Tuesday’s trading session as the benchmark indices erased morning gains and tumbled into the negative territory.  

On Tuesday, the shares of Tata Communications jumped by more than 12 per cent after the company announced its tie-up with Google. 

After taking a breather of two days, the bulls returned to dominate the domestic equity markets as Sensex gained 222.13 points or 0.43 per cent to settle at 51,531.52 levels while Nifty rose by 66.05 points or 0.43 per cent to close at 15,171.55 levels.
