Indices closed higher amid volatility at the end of the day. Nifty bounced back sharply in the latter half of the session and closed higher by 0.93 per cent.

Indices remained under pressure throughout the day while Nifty closed at 15,400. It has slipped 1.52 per cent while Sensex tanked about 710 points.

It was a broad-based rally on Tuesday as all the indices closed in green. Nifty 50 surged 1.88 per cent to close at 15,638.80 while Sensex gained about 934 points.

Indices traded with volatility throughout the day while Nifty closed higher by 0.37 per cent. Sensex gained about 237 points while Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap witnessed heavy profit booking as they plunged 2.26 per cent & 3.20 per cent, respectively.  

Indices closed lower for the sixth consecutive day and ended the week on a bearish note. Nifty slipped about 0.44 per cent.
