On Tuesday, the benchmark indices traded positively, with the NSE Nifty-50 Index rising by 0.19 per cent to a level of 19,745.25. Additionally, the Nifty-50 Index achieved a new 52-week high at 19,819.45.

Shares of the company have gained more than 3 per cent in today’s trade.

Ircon International Limited (IRCON) is a railway construction company, it diversified progressively since 1985 as an integrated engineering and construction PSU specializing in large and technologically complex infrastructure projects in various sectors such as railways, highways, etc. The company's total order book as of March 31, 2023 stands at Rs 35,195 crore.

According to the financials, the company has a market cap of over Rs 50,000 crore. The net sales increased by 33 per cent to Rs 13,203 crore and the net profit skyrocketed by 411.78 per cent to Rs 803 crore Q4FY23 over Q4FY22.  

The shares of the company gained 20.00 per cent on Tuesday.
