Penny Stocks: Stocks likely to be in focus tomorrow!

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday, June 14, 2024.

On Thursday, benchmark indices concluded the trading day on a higher note, with the Sensex moderately gaining 0.27 per cent and reaching a new all-time high of 77,145.46. The Nifty also gained 0.33 per cent, setting a record high at 23,481.05.

Similarly, the broader market experienced gains as the Nifty Mid-Cap closed significantly higher by 0.79 per cent, making a record high of 54,753.20, while the Nifty Small-Cap soared by 0.67 per cent, reaching 17,925.15 marking all-time high.

Market volatility, as indicated by India VIX, declined by 7.23 per cent and is trading around the level of 13, reflecting a decrease in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape, Nifty Realty, Nifty IT, and Nifty Auto were among the Top Gainers, while Nifty Media, Nifty FMCG, and Nifty Energy were among the Top Losers.

Overall, about 1,300 stocks were advancing compared to 832 stocks that were declining, indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

Reliance Power - Heavy buying was witnessed in the counter as the scrip zoomed and got locked at 10 per cent upper circuit, recording an intraday high of Rs 31.05 per share on NSE. Reliance Power has been established to develop, construct and operate power projects both in India as well as internationally. The Company on its own and through its subsidiaries has a large portfolio of power generation capacity, both in operation as well as capacity under development.

Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals - The scrip experienced significant buying activity, resulting in the stock surging and getting locked at 10 per cent upper circuit, reaching an intraday high of Rs 13.06 per share on NSE. Incorporated in 2006, Nagarjuna Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd manufactures and markets Fertilizers, Micro Irrigation Equipments and Agri Informatic Services.

RattanIndia Power - A solid price volume breakout was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit to record an intraday high of Rs 17.90 per share on NSE. RattanIndia Power Limited is one of India’s largest private power generation company, with installed capacity of 2,700 MW thermal power plants at Amravati and Nashik (1,350 MW at each location) in Maharashtra, India.
