Penny Stocks: Stocks likely to be in focus tomorrow!

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday, March 15, 2024.

On Thursday, the trading session concluded on a positive note, with Sensex closing higher by 0.46 per cent at 73,097.28 level, and Nifty surged by 0.68 per cent to close at 21,146.65 level.

The broader market witnessed significant gains, with Nifty Mid-Cap soaring by 2.02 per cent and Nifty Small-Cap surging by 3.45 per cent.

India VIX, reflecting market volatility, plunged by 5.61 per cent, indicating a notable decline in market uncertainty.

Top Gainers included Nifty Metal, Nifty IT, Nifty Media, and Nifty Energy, while Nifty Bank and Nifty Financial Services were among the Top Losers.

With 1,832 stocks advancing against 445 declining ones, the broader market sentiment remained positive.

Aksh Optifibre - Heavy buying was witnessed in the counter as the scrip zoomed and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, recording an intraday high of Rs 9.10 per share on NSE. Incorporated in 1986, Aksh Optifibre Ltd does manufacturing and selling of Optical Fibre, Optical Fibre Cable, Fibre Reinforced Plastic Rods, Impregnated Glass Roving Reinforcement and ophthalmic lens. It also provides E Governance and FTTH services.

Akash Infra-Projects - The scrip experienced significant buying activity, resulting in the stock surging and getting locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, reaching an intraday high of Rs 34.30 per share on NSE. Incorporated in 1999, Akash Infra-Projects Ltd is in the business of civil construction and trading in Lubricants.

Astron Paper and Board mill - A solid price volume breakout was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit to record an intraday high of Rs 24.75 per share on NSE. Astron Paper and Board mill Ltd is a paper manufacturing company. It is engaged in the manufacturing of Kraft Paper from waste paper.
