Penny Stocks: Stocks likely to be in focus tomorrow!

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

On Tuesday, the stock market closed with a positive note as Sensex rose by 0.22 per cent to reach 73,667.96, while Nifty marginally gained by 0.01 per cent to close at 22,335.70.

However, the broader market saw significant declines with Nifty Mid-Cap dropping by 1.41 per cent and Nifty Small-Cap plummeting by 1.98 per cent.

Market volatility, measured by India VIX, decreased by 2 per cent, indicating lower market uncertainty.

Nifty IT and Nifty Financial Services were the only sectors that showed positive trading, while Nifty Realty, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Media, and Nifty Metal were among the Top Losers.

With around 330 stocks advancing compared to 1,942 stocks declining, the broader market sentiment was negative.

Balkrishna Paper Mills - Heavy buying was witnessed in the counter as the scrip zoomed and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, recording an intraday high of Rs 36.00 per share on NSE. Incorporated in 1975, Balkrishna Paper Mills Ltd does manufacturing and marketing of Coated Duplex Board page.

Energy Development Company - The scrip experienced significant buying activity, resulting in the stock surging and getting locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, reaching an intraday high of Rs 22.45 per share on NSE. Incorporated in 1995, Energy Development Company Ltd does generation and sale of bulk power and trading of power equipments[

GTL Infrastructure - A solid price volume breakout was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit to record an intraday high of Rs 12.10 per share on NSE. Incorporated in 2004, GTL Infrastructure is in the business of providing Shared Passive Telecom Infrastructure in India.
