Penny Stocks: Stocks likely to be in focus tomorrow!

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday, March 06, 2024.

On Tuesday, the Indian benchmark indices wrapped up the trading session on a downtrend, with the Sensex closing marginally lower by 0.26 per cent at 73,677.14 points and the Nifty declining by 0.22 per cent to settle at 22,356.30 points.

The broader market also displayed weakness, with the Nifty Mid-Cap slipping by 0.27 per cent and the Nifty Small-Cap plunging by 1.24 per cent.

Market volatility, gauged by the India VIX, witnessed a decline of 3.64 per cent, indicating a reduction in market uncertainty.

Among the sectors, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Auto, and Nifty Energy emerged as the Top Gainers, while Nifty IT, Nifty Media, and Nifty FMCG faced notable losses.

With 745 stocks advancing against 1,527 declining ones, the market sentiment remained predominantly negative.

ARSS Infrastructure Projects - Heavy buying was witnessed in the counter as the scrip zoomed and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, recording an intraday high of Rs 23.65 per share on NSE. Incorporated in 2000, ARSS Infrastructure Projects Ltd is in the business of project execution for various civil and infrastructure projects.

 

Ashoka Metcast - The scrip experienced significant buying activity, resulting in the stock surging and getting locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, reaching an intraday high of Rs 27.70 per share on NSE. Incorporated in 2009, Ashoka Metcast Ltd does trading of steel, goods and others.

 

Eurotex Industries and Exports - A solid price volume breakout was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied and got locked at 10 per cent upper circuit to record an intraday high of Rs 18.15 per share on NSE. Established in 1989, Eurotex Industries and Exports Limited is engaged in manufacturing of cotton yarn & knitted fabric.
