In Wednesday's trading session, the benchmark indices closed on a positive note, with the Sensex marking a 0.52 per cent increase and reaching its record high at 69,744.62. Similarly, the Nifty closed 0.4 per cent higher, achieving its all-time high at 20,961.95.

Broader indices also ended positively, with Nifty Mid-Cap recording a 0.25 per cent increase, and Nifty Small-Cap closing 0.38 per cent higher.

Market volatility, denoted by India VIX, saw a notable surge of 2.10 per cent, indicating an uptick in market uncertainty.

Top Gainers included Nifty Media, Nifty IT, and Nifty Energy, while underperformers comprised Nifty Bank, Nifty Pharma, and Nifty Realty.

Among individual stocks, Wipro, LTIMindtree, and ITC emerged as the top gainers, whereas Adani Enterprises, Eicher Motors, and Cipla faced declines in the Nifty 50.

In a broader market context, about 1054 stocks advanced, outnumbering the 983 stocks in decline, reflecting an overall positive sentiment.

Cyber Media (India) - The scrip experienced significant buying activity, resulting in the stock surging and getting locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, reaching an intraday high of Rs 19.95 per share on NSE. Established in 1982, Cyber Media (India) Ltd engages in various sectors, including print media, publishing, digital marketing, content creation, analytics, and management consultancy.

Astron Paper and Board Mill - A solid price volume breakout was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit to record an intraday high of Rs 30.35 per share on NSE. Astron Paper and Board Mill Ltd specializes in the production of Kraft Paper using recycled paper, contributing to sustainable paper manufacturing.
