Penny Stocks: Stocks likely to be in focus tomorrow!

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, September 25, 2023

On Friday, the Sensex witnessed a slight decline of 0.33 per cent, settling at 66,009.15, while the Nifty 50 mirrored this trend, ending down 0.34 per cent at 19,674.30. Following JP Morgan's announcement about including Indian bonds, there was a noticeable increase in buying activity among PSU banks, while sectors like pharmaceuticals and metals faced a decline in performance.

Among the top Nifty gainers were Power Grid, Asian Paints, Coal India, NTPC, and HDFC Life. On the other hand, HDFC Bank, UltraTech, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories and Wipro found themselves among the major underperformers.

For the week, the market saw its most significant weekly decline in seven months, breaking a three-week streak of gains. Both the Sensex and Nifty witnessed a drop of approximately 3 per cent each during this period.

The following Penny Stocks are likely to be in focus on Monday, September 25, 2023:

Univa Foods- Heavy buying was witnessed in the counter as the scrip zoomed and got locked at 5 per cent upper circuit, recording an intraday high of Rs 5.25 per share on NSE. The scrip witnessed massive spurt in volume. Univa Foods Ltd is in the hotel business.

Vodafone Idea -The scrip experienced significant buying activity, resulting in the stock surging more than 7 per cent, reaching an intraday high of Rs 17.05 per share on NSE. Vodafone Idea is a telecom service provider in India and is engaged in the business of mobility and long-distance services, trading of handsets and data cards.

South Indian Bank- A solid price volume breakout was seen at the counter today as the stock rallied more than 4 per cent to record an intraday high of Rs 27 per share on NSE. South Indian Bank provides retail and corporate banking, para banking activities such as debit card, third party financial product distribution, in addition to treasury and foreign exchange business.
