Mid-cap stocks outperformed broader markets

On Tuesday, Indian equity markets further extended yesterday's gains. Nifty 50 ended the session in the green territory with gains of 0.74 per cent at 18,145.4. Mid-Cap stocks outperformed broader markets.  

The following penny stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday, November 2, 2022:    

JD Orgochem - Only buyers were seen in the scrip today. The stock got locked at a 5 per cent upper circuit, recording a fresh 52-week high of Rs 9.69 per share on BSE. The company is engaged into the business of manufacturing and trading of dyes and chemicals. 

Andhra Cements – A strong price volume breakout was witnessed in this counter today. The stock froze at 5 per cent upper circuit. The company is in the business of cement production and is a part of the Jaypee Group. It has two manufacturing plants situated in Andhra Pradesh. The company has been undergoing insolvency proceedings, while Sagar Cements and Dalmia Cement (India) seem to be the front-runners for acquiring the company.
