- Escorts: The shares of Escorts gained by more than 19 per cent on Thursday with a spurt in volume of over 6 times. A huge breakout was seen in the share price of Escorts as Kubota announced that it will to increase its stakes in Escorts. Escorts will issue 9.36 equity shares at a price of INR 2,000 per equity share to Japanese partner Kubota on preferential basis. Post completion of the open offer and issue becoming effective, Kubota will become a joint promoter of the company along with the existing promoters.
