Overnight Digest: Watch out for these stocks on January 13

On Wednesday, domestic equity markets were driven up the hill by well fed bulls. Headline indices Sensex and Nifty 50 ended the session at 18,212.30 and 61,150.04, recording gains of 156.50 points and 533.15 points respectively.

Blue-chip top gainers of the day include Reliance Industries Limited, ICICI Bank, Infosys and Bajaj Finance. Likewise, top losers comprise of Tata Consultancy Services, HDFC Bank, Titan Company and Shree Cements.   

Keep a watch on these stocks in Thursday's trading session: 

Larsen & Toubro - A consortium led by L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, has secured two offshore mega contracts (worth over Rs 7,000 crore) from a prestigious overseas client. The scope of work comprises EPC for new facilities and integration with existing installations. LTHE is currently executing several domestic and international offshore projects. It is also committed to building its regional presence in geographies that it operates by growing local skills and talent, improving procurement from local vendors, engaging commercially with local contractors on the foundation of a sustainable workload.

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services – Quiklyz, the vehicle leasing and subscription business vertical of the company has recently announced that it will offer the widest range of electric vehicles (EVs) for leasing and subscription to potential customers. Quiklyz currently has the largest portfolio of EVs on the subscription platform. The portfolio spans across electric 4W from the leading OEMs offering electric vehicles. Customers will have the flexibility to upgrade their vehicle in 2-3 years keeping in tune with ever-increasing technology features in newer EV launches going forward.             

The customers intending to purchase EV vehicles through bank loans, therefore, are required to pay a very high down payment. However, with Quiklyz there is no requirement for a down payment and monthly subscription charges for EV 4W starts from as low as Rs 21,399/- per month.

52-week High Stocks - Pidilite Industries, Adani Green Energy, Adani Enterprises, Gujarat Fluorochemicals, Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals Corporation, and Affle (India) hit a fresh 52-week high on the bourses today.

These stocks have a high chance of being on the investors’ radar for upcoming trading sessions.
