Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Wednesday

On Tuesday, Indian equity markets bounced back, bucking the trend of yesterday’s losing streak. Benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex climbed 0.94 per cent and 0.89 per cent to end the session at 16,770.80 and 56,319.01, respectively. BSE Small-cap index outperformed broader markets by recording gains of 1.29 per cent.

Chalet Hotels – The company has recently informed the exchange that the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors at its meeting held today (December 21, 2021) has considered and approved the offer of secured, unlisted, non-cumulative, redeemable and non-convertible debentures up to an amount of Rs 375 crore to 'International Finance Corporation' on a private placement basis.
Paisalo Digital – The company has announced that it has recently signed a co-lending loan agreement with Punjab National Bank, With a vision of empowering the agri, allied agri, MSME segment, women entrepreneurs and small businesses. The PNB-Paisalo co-lending platform will leverage PNB's low cost of funds on the liability side and Paisalo's origination and rule engine underwriting capabilities on the asset side, with the help of an end-to-end digital platform for sourcing, servicing, and recovery of small-ticket income generation priority sector loans.
Oriental Carbon & Chemicals – The company has informed the exchange that it has commissioned its first phase (5500 MTPA Capacity) of its project for expansion of insoluble sulphur production capacity at Dharuhera, Haryana, today, i.e. December 21, 2021.
