Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Tuesday
Universus Photo Imagings, Marshall Machines, Thomas Scott (India), Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra), Genesys International Corporation and Pansari Developers made a fresh 52-week high today.
On Monday, headline indices Sensex and Nifty ended in the green territory, up by 0.24 per cent and 0.12 per cent, closing the session at 57,245.33 and 17,046.80, respectively. Nifty Bank index ended on a flat at 35,979.30, down by only 0.13 per cent i.e, 46.20 points. BSE Smallcap index underperformed broader markets by slipping 1.94 per cent to end at 27,525.59.

Capri Global Capital – The company has recently announced that it has entered into a co‐lending agreement with the State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest public‐sector bank, to offer MSME loans. Through this collaboration, CGCL and SBI aim to disburse MSME loans initially across 100 plus touch points pan‐India. The company has said that the loan disbursement under this arrangement would commence from December 2021.
The co‐lending agreement aims to enhance last‐mile finance and drive financial inclusion to MSMEs by offering secured loans between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 100 lakh. The arrangement will also entail the joint contribution of credit to the prospective MSME customers in Tier II and Tier III markets.
Brooks Laboratories – The company has announced that its subsidiary has received marketing authorization in Germany for Meropenem. This is the first marketing authorization received by the company in the European region.
Ruchira Papers – The company has informed the exchange that rating agency CRISIL has reaffirmed the credit rating of ‘CRISIL BBB+/Stable’ assigned to long term facilities and CRISIL A2 assigned to short term facilities of the company.
