Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Thursday
Kabra Extrusion Technik, RateGain Travel Technologies, STL Global, Hind Rectifiers, Ginni Filaments and Lyka Labs made a fresh 52-week high today.
On Wednesday, Indian equity markets continued staging a decent recovery. Headline indices Nifty 50 and Sensex gained ~1.10 per cent each, to close at 16,955.50 and 56,930.56 respectively. BSE Small-cap index outperformed broader markets, by recording gains of 1.66 per cent i.e. 462.97 points. Minda Industries, Trident and Tanla Platforms were among the top gainers of the index.

Vakrangee – The company’s subsidiary, Vakrangee Digital Ventures Limited has announced an alliance with Angel One Limited, the largest listed retail broking house in India, to offer online trading account opening services through its BharatEasy Mobile app. Vakrangee shall also provide the service from its physical network of Vakrangee Kendras. This tie-up will provide a complete bouquet of financial solutions to customers across the country.
PNC Infratech – The company has announced the receipt of Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from National Highways Authority of India, for ‘Collection of User Fee at 135 km long Eastern Peripheral Expressway Fee Plazas (National Highway No. NE II) in the States of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh for 1 Year’, for a contract value of Rs 369 crore (annual remittance to be made to NHAI).
Kesoram Industries – The company has recently announced that the suspension of work at Rayon Plant, Chemical Division, T.P Plant situated at Kuntighat, District Hoogly, West Bengal of their wholly-owned subsidiary M/s Cygnet Industries Limited, has been lifted with effect from December 22, 2021.
