Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Monday
Esab India, Bharat Bijlee, Pioneer Distilleries, Triveni Turbine, Pansari Developers and One Point One Solutions made a fresh 52-week high today.
On Friday, headline indices Nifty and Sensex fell by 1.13 per cent and 1.04 per cent to end at 59,306.93 and 17,671.65 respectively. PSU banks gained, while IT stocks underperformed. BSE Small-cap index dipped by 107.17 points to end at 27,982.80.

Jonuja Overseas – The Board of Directors of the company approved its financial results for the half-year ended September 30, 2021. Total income has substantially increased from Rs 97.85 lakh to Rs 150.59 lakh during the half-year ended September 30, 2021, as compared to the half-year ended September 30, 2020. There is a substantial increase of 54 per cent approximately in total income.
Net profit after tax has increased from Rs 29.53 lakh to Rs 33.82 lakh during the half-year ended September 30, 2021, as compared to the half-year ended September 30, 2020. There is an increase of 15 per cent approximately in net profit after tax.
Imagicaaworld Entertainment – Imagicaaworld Entertainment Limited, which operates Imagicaa - Theme park, water park, snow park and a family hotel Novotel Imagicaa Khopoli, announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ending September 30, 2021.
In Q2FY22, the park operations remained closed on account of the second phase of lockdown and restrictions. However, the company saw an upswing in the hotel business which reported revenues of Rs 4.6 crore in Q2FY22, as consumers started to look for outdoor recreation avenues.
The company reported operating expenses (excluding interest and depreciation) of Rs 14.2 crore in Q2FY22 vis-a-vis Rs 8.2 crore in Q2FY21. The increase in costs was primarily from the increase in repairs and maintenance, power and fuel expenses, as the company-initiated readiness for reopening of park operations. Further, the hotel expenses increased due to an increase in rooms sold.
