Overnight Digest: These small caps will be in focus on Friday

Borosil, Nitco, Websol Energy System, Jindal Worldwide, Ginni Filaments, Shivalik Bimetal Controls, Medicamen Biotech and Agro Phos India made a fresh 52-week high today.

On Thursday, frontline equity indices Nifty 50 and Sensex closed the session in the green territory at 17,248.4 and 57,901.1, with gains of 0.16 per cent and 0.20 per cent respectively. BSE Small-cap index underperformed broader markets and corrected by 189.01 points i.e. 0.65 per cent.    

The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday:   

CarTrade Tech – The company has recently announced that it plans to deploy up to USD 100 million (i.e. Rs 750 crore) for strategic acquisitions and investments in the automotive ecosystem.  

Ashoka Buildcon – The company has announced that it has submitted an offer to Howe Engineering Projects (India) Private Limited in respect of the project (viz. work of construction of rock fill embankment and subgrade work for Navi Mumbai International Airport). The company has been awarded the project with the cost of Rs 262.17 crore (excluding GST).  

Ramco Systems – The company has informed the exchange that it will implement its ‘Aviation M&E MRO Suite V5.9’ at Pathfinder Aviation, a heli-charter operator with services ranging from survey and exploration, firefighting, heli-skiing, Department of Defense contracts, oil and gas, utility support, aerial cinema and more. Ramco will help Pathfinder Aviation manage its remote operations with zero connectivity and help achieve paperless operations.
