KEC International – The company has announced that it has secured new orders of Rs 1,082 crore in the transmission and distribution (T&D) business as follows - 400 kV Transmission line order in SAARC, from Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) and 400 kV Transmission line order in India, from a leading private developer under Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) route.

To quote Vimal Kejriwal, MD and CEO of KEC International from a filing with the exchange, "Our YTD (year to date) order inflows now stand at Rs 8,500 crore, which is a staggering growth of 100 per cent vis-à-vis last year. With this, our share of international orders in the total order book increases to 41 per cent. These orders along with the orders announced earlier, reaffirm our confidence in achieving the targeted growth going forward."
