Overnight Digest: Stocks to watch out for on November 9
On Monday, despite a muted opening, domestic indices erased their early losses on the back of cheering macros like fuel rate tax-cut, improved PMI numbers and higher festive season sales numbers.
During the volatile session, the bulls dominated with several stocks in cement, consumer durables and PSU witnessing good buying interest from investors.
The broader markets saw that both the midcap and smallcap indices recorded substantial activity with several stocks indicating moves of a good festive season.

Sun TV Network - The company announced quarterly results for Q2FY22. It reported a higher consolidated profit at Rs 395.55 crore in Q2FY22 against Rs 335.02 crore in Q2FY21 and revenue jumped to Rs 848.67 crore from Rs 768.69 crore, YoY. Sun TV Network touched a 52-week high of Rs 611.25 per share and ended at Rs 577, down 5.10 per cent on the BSE.
Oil & Gas Stocks - The BSE Oil & Gas Index has outperformed the benchmark indices in Monday's trading session. The index has gained over 2.3 per cent. Hindustan Petroleum, Adani Total Gas and IOC are top-performing stocks within the index. Hindustan Petroleum has zoomed 7.38 per cent on Monday.
Whirlpool of India - The stock has caught investors' attention in Monday's trading session. It has jumped more than 10 per cent on an intraday basis and closed 8.92 per cent up. The technical chart of the stock shows that after a declining trend, the stock has formed a long green candle with a decent spurt in volumes in Monday's trading session.
