Eveready Industries India: Market reports suggest that batteries and smart power systems producing American company Duracell Inc., which is owned by Berkshire Hathaway, is set to acquire the batteries and flashlight business of Eveready Industries India.
Skipper Limited: The company received an order from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) for supplying and installing 765kV, 190km Hexa Zebra Conductor Transmission Line from Fatehgarh2 to Bhadla2 under TBCB bidding conducted by PFC for Green Energy Corridor project. The project is worth Rs. 524 crore.
Meghmani Organics Limited: Meghmani Finechem Limited (MFL), which is a subsidiary of the company, decided to foray into project of Epichlorohydrin with an annual capacity 50000 tonnes which will be based on TechnipFMC’s EPICEROL technology.
IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited: Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited agreed to revive the contract made with the company for construction of viaduct corridor from interface point as part of North-South corridor for Ahmedabad Metro Project, Phase 1.
