NTPC: NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, incorporated Green Valley Renewable Energy Limited, as a subsidiary of NTPC REL in a 51:49 joint venture with Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) on August 25, 2022. Also, NTPC has completed the acquisition of Jhabua Power Company, having an operational capacity of 600 MW for Rs 600 crore.
Reliance Industries: The company has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a 79.4 per cent stake in SenseHawk for a total transaction of Rs 255 crore. The developer of software-based management tools for the solar energy producing sector, SenseHawk is a young company situated in California. By assisting businesses in streamlining processes and utilising automation, SenseHawk helps solar projects move more quickly from the design stage to production. It offers a seamless digital platform for managing the entire lifecycle of solar assets. The shares of Reliance Industries rose almost a per cent to reach a price of Rs 2,594 per share.
Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services: The company’s disbursement of funds for the month of August jumped 75 per cent on a YoY basis. The total disbursement stood at Rs 3,740 crore. The shares of Mahindra & Mahindra climbed more than 5 per cent during Tuesday’s trading session and ended the day at Rs 219.60 per share.
