Overnight Digest: Stocks to keep an eye on May 18!

Watch out for these large-cap stocks in Thursday’s trading session!

Indian headline indices finished the session much lower. The BSE Realty sector had the worst performance and there were also significant losses in the IT, utilities and metals sectors. The only sectors that recorded gains were BSE Fast Moving Consumer Goods and BSE Auto.  

The BSE Sensex fell 0.60 per cent to 61,560 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index declined 0.57 per cent to a level of 18,181.  

Watch out for these Large-Cap stocks in Thursday’s trading session -  

Larsen & Toubro - The company announced that its buildings and factories business has received EPC orders in India. The order size ranges from Rs 1,000 crore to 2,500 crore, according to information provided by the company. Shares ended the session 0.33 per cent lower.

Hero Motocorp - The company launched the all-new OBD-II and E20 compliant adventure motorcycle - XPulse 200 4 Valve to further demonstrate its commitment to bring cleaner and technologically-advanced mobility solutions. Being the top gainer from the BSE Largecap pack, shares ended the session 1.43 per cent higher.  

Adani Total Gas - Due to heavy selling pressure, shares of the company continued to hit back-to-back lower circuits. Shares have fallen by more than 25 per cent in the last month and over 80 per cent year-to-date.
