Overnight Digest: Stocks to keep an eye on May 17!

Watch out for these large-cap stocks in Wednesday’s trading session!

The Indian benchmark indices finished the session significantly lower, dragged down by losses in the auto and banking sector stocks. The BSE Sensex tumbled 0.66 per cent to 61,932 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index fell 0.61 per cent to a level of 18,286.    

Watch out for these Large-Cap stocks in Wednesday’s trading session -  

Indian Oil Corporation - Shares of the company surged 3.31 per cent, touching a 52-week high and making it the top gainer in the BSE Largecap pack, as the company announced an outstanding quarter performance and recommended a final dividend of Rs 3 per equity share for FY23, subject to shareholder approval.

Infosys Ltd - Infosys and bp (a global integrated energy company), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) indicating Infosys' intent to be bp's primary partner for end-to-end application services such as development, modernization, management and maintenance. Shares of Infosys ended the session 0.43 per cent higher.  

Bajaj Finance - In an otherwise weak market, shares continued their strong rally, finishing the session more than 1 per cent higher. The stock has soared more than 13 per cent over the previous month as the company reported robust quarterly performance.
