The healthcare and utilities sectors recorded notable gains, while optimistic global cues helped Indian benchmark indices in finishing the session higher. BSE Consumer Durables and BSE Metals, however, were the market laggards. The BSE Sensex advanced 0.24 per cent to 58,214 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index gained 0.26 per cent to a level of 17,151.

Larsen & Toubro - The company said that its construction arm has received orders for its water & effluent treatment and buildings & factories businesses. The order size ranges from Rs 1,000 crore to 2,500 crore, according to information provided by the company. Shares ended the session 0.24 per cent higher.
One 97 Communications - With a spurt in volume, shares of the company (Paytm) soared more than 6 per cent, leading the gains in the BSE Largecap pack. Shares have experienced a rally and climbed more than 10 per cent over the last five trading sessions.
Bandhan Bank - After receiving a number of bids for its stressed assets, shares of the bank surged more than 4 per cent today. Recently, shares have recovered from their 52-week low, although they are still down more than 30 per cent over the past year.
