Overnight Digest: Stocks to keep an eye on March 17!

Watch out for these large-cap stocks in Friday’s trading session!

The Indian benchmark indices fluctuated between gains and losses during the session, but managed to end higher. The BSE Sensex gained 0.14 per cent to 57,634 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index edged up by 0.08 per cent to a level of 16,985. The markets were boosted by strong gains in the BSE Utilities, BSE Power and BSE Oil & Gas sectors.  

Watch out for these Large-Cap stocks in Friday’s trading session -  

ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company - Following the appointment of Anup Bagchi, an ICICI Bank veteran, as MD and CEO of the company, shares of the company rocketed and ended the session 6.50 per cent higher. During the opening trades on the BSE today, shares hit a 52-week low of Rs 380.95 per share.  

Hindalco Industries - Being the worst performer in the BSE Metals pack, shares of the company slumped more than 5 per cent due to intense selling pressure. Shares have fallen more than 10 per cent in the last month. Significant declines were also observed in shares of Tata Steel and Jindal Steel & Power.  

DLF Ltd - DLF Ltd, one of India's leading listed real estate businesses, reported record-breaking pre-formal launch sales of more than Rs 8,000 crore for its premium high-rise residences. Shares experienced significant buying activity and ended the session more than 3 per cent higher.
