Indian benchmark indices started the session higher thanks to gains in technology stocks but subsequent significant declines in healthcare, metal and real estate stocks caused the indices to close flat. At close, the BSE Sensex edged up by 0.06 per cent to 60,978. The Nifty 50 index held steady at yesterday's closing level of 18,118. With gains of more than 1 per cent, BSE Auto emerged as the top gaining sector.

Tata Motors - Shares of Tata Motors finished the lacklustre session 3 per cent higher, making them the top Sensex gainer. The business declared yesterday that it had terminated its ADS (American Depositary Shares) Program and delisted from the NYSE.
Maruti Suzuki - Shares of the automobile, one of the Top Gainers on the Sensex today, surged more than 3 per cent with a substantial rise in volume as the company posted a strong quarterly performance. The business recently commenced exports of its highly successful premium SUV, Grand Vitara.
Reliance Industries - Today, Reliance Jio announced the largest-ever rollout of its True 5G services across 50 cities. Jio users in 184 cities can now enjoy Jio True 5G services as a result. Reliance Jio is the first and only provider to launch 5G services in the majority of these cities. Despite starting the session higher, shares ended nearly half a per cent lower.
