After fluctuating between gains and losses throughout the session, Indian domestic indices ended the session marginally lower. The majority of sectors were trading down, with BSE Information Technology and BSE Realty performing the worst. The BSE Sensex edged down by 0.03 per cent to 60,672 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index lost 0.10 per cent to a level of 17,826.

NTPC Ltd - In an otherwise weak market, shares of NTPC Ltd ended the session more than 3 per cent higher, making it the top Sensex gainer. After many sessions of sharp decline, BSE Power emerged as the top gaining sector, led by Adani Power and NTPC Ltd and registered significant gains.
Tata Steel - The committee of directors considered and approved the issue of 2,15,000 non-convertible debentures (NCDs) of face value Rs 1 lakh each aggregating to Rs 2,150 crore on a private placement basis to eligible investors. Shares of Tata Steel ended the session 0.76 per cent higher.
Reliance Industries - Reliance Jio announced the expansion of its True 5G services to 20 additional cities, bringing the total number of cities enjoying Jio True 5G to 277. Reliance Jio is the first and only provider to launch 5G services in the majority of these cities. Shares of Reliance Industries surged 0.79 per cent, ranking among the Top Gainers on the Sensex.
