Overnight Digest: Stocks to keep an eye on April 06!

Watch out for these large-cap stocks in Thursday’s trading session!

The Indian benchmark indices ended the session sharply higher, boosted by strong gains in the capital goods and fast-moving consumer goods sectors, while utilities and power stocks underperformed significantly.  

The BSE Sensex surged 0.99 per cent to 59,689 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index climbed 0.91 per cent to a level of 17,557.

Larsen & Toubro - The company said that its hydrocarbon business has secured multiple offshore packages from a prestigious client in the Middle East. The order size ranges more than 7,000 crore, according to information provided by the company. Shares finished the session 3.96 per cent higher, making them the top Sensex gainer.  

FSN E-Commerce Ventures - Shares of Nykaa have experienced intense buying pressure and surged 7.86 per cent with a substantial increase in volume. Shares have recovered after hitting a 52-week low at Rs 120.50 on the BSE recently.  

Housing Development Finance Corporation - Shares of HDFC soared nearly 3 per cent as one of the Top Gainers, while HDFC Bank also contributed significantly to the Sensex rally. The NCLT has already given its approval to the HDFC-HDFC Bank merger, which is expected to be completed soon.
