Overnight digest : Stocks to be watched out for September 3

On Thursday, Benchmark Indices have ended in green with Nifty closing above 17200 levels led by IT and FMCG stocks. Barring Auto and PSU Bank, all other sectoral indices ended in positive territory with IT and Pharma indices up 1 percent each. In the broader markets, BSE midcap and smallcap indices were up by 0.5 percent each.

Following stocks are likely to be in focus on Friday - 

Adani Green Energy: The company has raised USD 750 million via Green Bonds to fully fund equity needs for its under-construction pipeline. The Green Bond was oversubscribed by over 4.7x. This stock is likely to be in focus on Friday.

Indian Oil Corporation: This stock is likely to be on investors' radar as it has listed its foreign currency bonds on IFSC (International Financial Services Centre) exchanges at Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT).

IT stocks - On Thursday, the IT stocks experienced a bull run. BSE IT Index gained 1.54 per cent in Thursday's trading session. Among the top gaining stocks within the IT Index, Zensar Technologies, Sasken Technologies and Nelco were the stocks hitting their 52-week high price. Keep a close watch on these stocks for Friday's trading session.

Vodafone Idea - On Thursday, the stock has bolted 17.24 per cent on an intra-day basis. After trading in a sideways trend for a week, the stock has formed green candles for 3 consecutive trading sessions. The long green candle formed in Thursday's trading session was supported by a decent rise in volumes. The stock is likely to be in focus for Friday.

Coal India - The company has launched a multi-pronged effort to help build up coal stocks at power plants and focused that supply to the electricity units carrying stock of zero to six days has been taken on priority by preparing a contingency supply plan to increase their stock. Keep an eye on this stock for Friday's trading session.
