Overnight Digest: Stocks likely to be in focus on October 13

Watch out for these stocks for Thursday's trading session.

The domestic markets regained momentum after the recent dip and climbed nearly a per cent, owing to mixed cues.  At close, Sensex zoomed 478.59 points or 0.84 per cent at 57,625.91 level while Nifty was up by 140.10 points or 0.82 per cent at 17,123.60.  

Power Grid Corporation, Axis Bank, Coal India, Bajaj Auto, and NTPC were among the top Nifty gainers. Asian Paints, Adani Enterprises, Dr Reddy's Labs, Bharti Airtel, and ICICI Bank were the Top Losers

Watch out for these stocks for Thursday's trading session - 

WiproThe company reported its Quarterly Results for Q2FY23. Its consolidated net profit for the quarter that ended September 30, contracted 9.27 per cent to Rs 2,659 crore compared to Rs 2,930 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal. The revenue from operations was reported at Rs 22,539.7 crore, a 14.60 per cent growth over Rs 19,667.4 crore in the previous year.

Sonata Software -The company has signed an agreement with Eir Evo, Ireland's leading telecommunications and ICT solutions provider, to support the standardisation of its CRM platform, migrating from Salesforce to Microsoft Dynamics. The shares of Sonata Software gained up to 1 per cent during Wednesday's trading session.  

L&T Finance Holdings - The company has received approval from SEBI for the sale of 100 per cent shareholding in subsidiary L&T Investment Management to HSBC Asset Management (India). With this approval, all necessary actions are being taken to ensure the completion of the proposed transaction. The shares of L&T Finance Holdings jumped more than 3 per cent on an intraday basis.  

Price volume breakout stocks - Some of the stocks that showed a price volume breakout during Wednesday's trading session comprised IDFC, Manappuram Finance, ZF Commercial Vehicle Control System India, City Union Bank, and Jindal Stainless Steel.  

Keep an eye on these stocks for Thursday's trading session.
