Overnight Digest: Stocks likely to be in focus on November 10

Watch out for these stocks for Thursday's trading session

Amid a volatile day for the market, the benchmark indices closed the trading session on a lower note with Sensex being down 151.60 points or 0.25 per cent at 61,033.55 level and Nifty declining 45.80 points or 0.25 per cent at 18,157 level. 

Hindalco Industries, Power Grid Corp, Divis Labs, Tech Mahindra and Grasim Industries were among the top Nifty losers, while gainers were Adani Ports, Coal India, ITC, Dr Reddy’s Labs and Hero MotoCorp.

APL Apollo TubesAPL Apollo Tubes has posted a 2.8 per cent jump in its Q2FY23 net profit recording at Rs 150.2 crore as compared to Rs 146.1 crore while revenue grew 28.7 per cent reporting at Rs 3,969.2 crore as compared to Rs 3,084 crore on a YoY basis. The shares of APL Apollo Tubes sharply plunged up to 4 per cent towards the end of Wednesday's trading session. 

Siemens - Siemens has set up a state-of-the-art factory in Aurangabad to address the increasing demand in India and across the world. The factory will deliver over 200 bogies towards an export order. The bogies are based on the proven global design concept from Siemens – SF30 Combino Plus that offers best-in-class passenger experience and easy maintenance. The shares of Siemens entered the red territory in the afternoon session and ended the day 0.72 per cent lower. 

Barbeque Nation - HospitalityThe shares of Barbeque Nation Hospitality have rattled 8 per cent on an intraday basis. The company declared Quarterly Results for Q2FY23 which showed that on a YoY basis, net profit was at Rs 7.1 crore against Rs 2.9 crore on a YoY basis. Revenue was up 30.6 per cent at Rs 310.5 crore against Rs 220.9 crore while EBITDA was up 41.2 per cent at Rs 58.3 crore against Rs 41.3 crore. Margin improved to 18.8 per cent against 18.7% on a YoY basis.

Price Volume Breakout Stocks - The shares which saw a price volume breakout in today's volatile session included Union Bank of India, Bank of India, Bank of Baroda, General Insurance Corporation of India and RattanIndia Enterprises.
