Opening spotlight: Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in falling markets!
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
After a 2 per cent fall in the previous session, at the pre-opening bell today, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red at a loss of 230 points or 0.45 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading at the level of 51,324.30, a loss of 171.5 points or 0.33 per cent over its previous close.
On the sectoral front, metals and auto declined around 0.3 per cent each whereas power lost over 0.6 per cent.
Amid this, Gulf Oil Lubricants India, Hatsun Agro Product and Motilal Oswal Financial Services emerged as the Top Gainers from Group A in the pre-opening session. None of these companies have made any significant announcements lately. Hence, the rally in their share prices could purely be driven by market forces.
Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, jumped 6.96 per cent to trade at Rs 423.95 apiece.
Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, surged 4.24 per cent to trade at Rs 884.60 apiece.
Similarly, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd, also from S&P BSE 500 Group, climbed 2.84 per cent to trade at Rs 769.20 apiece.
