Opening spotlight: These three stocks gain over 5 per cent in the first 15 minutes of the day!

Of these, the rally in the two stocks comes ahead of their Q4 and FY22 results announcement.

The frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green today. Within the first 15 minutes of the day, it made a gain of 0.25 per cent. During this time, S&P BSE Midcap and Smallcap index surged 0.6 per cent and 0.56 per cent, respectively. On the sectoral front, while the metals plunged nearly 3 per cent, energy and power rose 0.2 per cent and 1.28 per cent, respectively. 

Meanwhile, Kirloskar Brothers, Home First Finance Company India and KRBL Ltd from Group A were the top three gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session.  

Kirloskar Brothers Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap stock, zoomed 6.3 per cent to Rs 290 in the pre-opening session today. This rally comes ahead of the company’s Q4 and FY22 results, which are going to be announced tomorrow.  

Home First Finance Company India Ltd, another S&P BSE Smallcap stock, clocked gains of 5.66 per cent during the same time. At 9.07 am, the stock was trading at Rs 795 apiece, as against its previous closing price of Rs 752.40. 

Similarly, the shares of KRBL Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, were trading higher by 5.22 per cent to Rs 253.90 on the bourses. The company is set to announce its financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2022, on May 27, 2022.
