Opening spotlight: These S&P BSE 500 companies rallied over 5 per cent in the pre-opening session today!
Of the top three gainers, the rally in two stocks came after they announced their Q4 results while the third company is set to announce its Q4 results in a week’s time.
The volatility in the markets continues to prevail. While in the previous closing session, S&P BSE Sensex ended in red, at the pre-opening bell today, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green. By 9.15 am, the index had gained 236.98 points or 0.44 per cent.
Similarly, S&P BSE Midcap and S&P BSE Smallcap were up by nearly 0.4 per cent & 0.30 per cent, respectively.
On the sectoral front, metals gained over 0.4 per cent, power by more than 0.6 per cent whereas energy was up by nearly 0.9 per cent.
Meanwhile, S&P BSE 500 companies from Group A namely, Rajesh Exports, Aster DM Healthcare, and Minda Industries were the Top Gainers in the pre-opening session.
Rajesh Exports Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 7.22 per cent by 9.07 am to trade at Rs 589 apiece. The company is set to announce its results for the quarter and the year ending March 31, 2022, on May 30, 2022.
Aster DM Healthcare Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, jumped 6.54 per cent in the pre-opening session. At 9.07 am, the company’s shares were trading at Rs 184, as against the previous closing price of Rs 172.70 on BSE. The rally comes after the company announced its Q4FY22 results on May 24. As per the press release, the company’s revenue from operations went up by 14 per cent YoY during Q4FY22.
Minda Industries Ltd, a part of S&P BSE 500 index, zoomed 5.68 per cent in the pre-opening session after the company’s Q4FY22 results came out on May 24. During the quarter, the company’s net revenue increased by 7.90 per cent YoY and 10.71 per cent sequentially to Rs 2,415.08 crore.
