Opening spotlight: These Group A stocks kicked off the week on a bullish note amid weak market sentiments

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

After falling by 1.23 per cent in the previous trading session, the broad market index S&P BSE Sensex witnessed a further decline today. The index fell from the levels of 57,197.15 in the previous trading session to 56,762.48 in today’s session, a decrease of 0.76 per cent.      

During this time, Godrej Agrovet Ltd, Sunflag Iron & Steel Co. Ltd, and Navneet Education Ltd were the top three gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session.  

Godrej Agrovet Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 5.83 per cent on the bourses in the pre-opening session. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 523.60, an increase of Rs 28.85 from the previous closing price of Rs 494.75 on BSE.  

Similarly, Sunflag Iron & Steel Co. Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, jumped 5.69 per cent. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 135.50, an increase of Rs 7.30 from the previous closing price of Rs 128.20 on BSE.  

At the same time, the shares of Navneet Education Ltd, another S&P BSE Smallcap company, surged 5.02 per cent on the bourses. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 107.80, an increase of Rs 5.15 from the previous closing price of Rs 102.65 on BSE.
