Opening Spotlight: These Group A stocks kicked off the day on a bullish note

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

After gaining over a per cent in the previous trading session, the broad market index S&P BSE Sensex witnessed a further rally today. In the pre-opening session today, the index jumped from the levels of 57,521.06 in the previous trading session to 57,817.51 in today’s session, an increase of 0.52 per cent.      

During this time, Huhtamaki India Ltd, Parag Milk Foods Ltd, and Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd were the top three gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session.   

Huhtamaki India Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap stock, surged 9.73 per cent on the bourses. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 207, an increase of Rs 18.35 from the previous day’s closing price of Rs 188.65 on BSE.  

Parag Milk Foods Ltd, another S&P BSE Smallcap stock, gained 6.45 per cent within the first 10 minutes of the day. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 109, an increase of Rs 6.60 from the previous day’s closing price of Rs 102.40 on BSE.  

At the same time, shares of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd were trading higher by 5.18 per cent. At 9.07 am, the shares of the company were trading at Rs 267, an increase of Rs 13.15 from the previous day’s closing price of Rs 253.85 on BSE.
