Opening bell: These Group A stocks surged in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 368 points or 0.69 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at the level of 53,501.25, holding on to gains of 266.48 points or 0.50 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals shined by over 0.5 per cent, power strengthened by more than a per cent whereas auto went up by nearly 0.6 per cent.
Meanwhile, Marksans Pharma Ltd, Procter & Gamble Health Ltd, and Ramco Systems Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring Marksans Pharma, the other two companies have not made any significant announcements lately. Hence, the rally in their share prices could purely be driven by market forces.
Marksans Pharma Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, rallied 11.57 per cent to trade at Rs 48.20 apiece. On Monday, the company announced that it shall consider a buyback proposal in its board meeting scheduled on July 8, 2022.
Procter & Gamble Health Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, surged 6.67 per cent to trade at Rs 4,476.50 apiece.
Ramco Systems Ltd, another S&P BSE Smallcap company, climbed 5.61 per cent to trade at Rs 298.40 apiece.
