Multibagger small-cap stock is locked at upper circuit after winning major tender!

So, what's working in favour of this multibagger small-cap stock on Wednesday? That's the million-dollar question.

Buckle up, because it's been a wild ride in the world of finance today. The bulls are having a blast as Wall Street soared to new heights overnight, thanks to a rebound in bank stocks and surprisingly good CPI data showing inflation is slowing down. Meanwhile, the Nifty bull is also on a roll, enjoying a wonderful Wednesday after four days of drubbing. But hold your horses, because the fear of the Nifty bears could cap any excessive optimism, especially given reports that a Russian jet collided with a US drone over the Black Sea.

Amidst all this excitement, one of the most captivating points of the day is the outperformance of the Nifty Small-Cap index, which has jumped over 1 per cent. And among the small-cap stocks, EKI Energy Services is the star of the show. Locked at an upper circuit of 5 per cent, the stock is trading at Rs 621.85 and it's not hard to see why it's grabbing the limelight.

EKI Energy Services has delivered multibagger returns to its shareholders, jumping more than 1500 per cent in the last two years alone. Yes, you read that right – 1500 per cent. So, what's working in favour of this multibagger small-cap stock on Wednesday? That's the million-dollar question.

EKI Energy Services Limited (“EKIESL”), has won a tender from Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a Joint Venture Company of the Government of India and the Government of Kerala.

As part of the contract, EKIESL will now provide assistance and consulting services for validation, registration, verification, issuance and trading of carbon credits projects of Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL). The aim is to enhance the environmental aspect of the metro project through certification for GHG emission reduction while delivering additional benefits in the form of carbon credits.

EKI will assist KMRL to monetize the carbon credits generated by its significant environmental impact.
