Year to date, out of 6,230 stocks listed on BSE, there are 39 stocks that gave more than 100 per cent returns and 118 stocks that gave more than 50 per cent returns.

All the frontline indices were trading in the green on Friday. The NSE Nifty-50 Index is up 0.48 per cent at a level of 17,681.10, while the BSE Sensex Index is up 0.40 per cent at a level of 60,074.42. 

On the sectoral front year to date, BSE Capital Goods Index (6.57 per cent), BSE Industrials Index (5.06 per cent) and BSE FMCG Index (2.99 per cent) were the Top Gainers whereas BSE Utilities Index (-25.75 per cent), BSE Power Index (-19.97 per cent) and BSE Energy Index (-16.91 per cent) were the Top Losers.
