Market wrap: The benchmark indices concluded the trading day on flat note!

About 2,453 stocks were advancing as against to 1,701 that were declining, thus indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

Market Update at 3:45 PM: On Monday, the market showed mixed sentiment. The benchmark indices trade on a flat note, with the Sensex trading up by 0.03 per cent touching 81,355.85 mark, while Nifty increased by 0.01 per cent breaking the level of 24,836.10 points.

Furthermore, the broader market zoomed, with the Nifty Mid-cap closing up by 1.03 per cent and the Nifty Small-cap rallied by 1 per cent.

Market volatility, as indicated by India VIX, has increased by 5.70 per cent, closing below 13 this is reflecting a decrease in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Media and Nifty Realty was among the top gainers while Nifty IT and Nifty FMCG are the major sectors which is underperformed.

Market Update at 2:25 PM: In the current trading session the benchmark indices trade on a flat note, with the Sensex trading down by 0.01 per cent touching 81,313 mark, while Nifty plunged by 0.02 per cent breaking the level of 24,837 points.

Similarly, the broader indices Nifty Mid-cap soared by 1.03 per cent, while Nifty Small-cap rallied by 0.89 per cent.

India VIX has increased by 6.47 per cent, indicating significant increase in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Media and Nifty Realty was among the top gainers while Nifty IT and Nifty FMCG are the major sectors which is underperformed.

About 2,313 stocks are advancing as against 1,683 stocks that are declining, thus indicating a negative sentiment in the broader market.

 

Market Update at 12:45 PM: In the current trading session benchmark indices have rallied with Sensex trading up by 0.22 per cent while Nifty has also increased by 0.20 per cent.

Additionally, in the broader indices, the Nifty Mid-cap soared by 1.01 per cent, while the Nifty Small-cap zoomed by 1.14 per cent.

India VIX is has plunged by 3.69 per cent, indicating a decrease in market volatility.

European stocks are poised to open on positive note on Monday, European futures DAX and FTSE traded higher by 0.40 per cent and 0.62 per cent, respectively. In contrast to this, CAC trade on negative note, declining by 0.11 per cent.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Media and Nifty Realty was among the top gainers while Nifty Pharma and Nifty FMCG are the major sectors which is underperformed.

About 2,425 stocks are advancing as against to 1,512 stocks that are declining, thus indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

 

Market Update at 11:15 AM: In the ongoing trading session, Benchmark indices are trading on a positive note. Sensex soared by 0.52 per cent, while Nifty increased by 0.49 per cent.

In the broader indices, the Nifty Mid-cap experienced a rally of 1.07 per cent, while the Nifty Small-cap is up by 1.32 per cent.

India VIX is has zoomed by 3.06 per cent, indicating a increase in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Media and Nifty Realty was among the top gainers while Nifty Pharma and Nifty FMCG are the major sectors which is underperformed.

The broader market sentiment is positive, with 2,597 stocks advancing compared to 1,263 stocks declining.

 

Market Update at 9:35 AM: On Monday, Indian markets opened trading session on a positive note. Similarly, the Broader indices also witnessed a positive rally.

The Sensex is trading higher at 0.43 per cent above the 81,683.42 mark while the Nifty has also soared by 0.35 per placed at 24,922.50 level.

Whereas, in the broader, the Nifty Mid-cap increased by 0.66 per cent trading below the 58,151 level and the Nifty Small-cap rallied by 0.91 per cent.

India VIX has zoomed by 4.29 per cent, indicating an increase in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Media and Nifty Realty was among the top gainers while Nifty Pharma and Nifty FMCG are the major sectors which is underperformed.

About 2,410 stocks were advancing as against to 860 that were declining, thus indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

 

Pre market: Indian benchmark indices, the Nifty 50 and the Sensex, broke a five-day losing streak and ended the week on a high note.

At close, the Sensex was up 1,292.92 points, or 1.62 per cent, at 81,332.72, and the Nifty was up 428.75 points, or 1.76 per cent, at 24,834.85.

The GIFT Nifty is trading higher, indicating a positive start for the day, with Nifty futures trading at 25,044.5.

Wall Street's major indexes ended higher on Friday as investors returned to tech megacaps that had triggered broad sell-offs earlier in the week. Inflation data also boosted optimism that the Federal Reserve will soon begin cutting interest rates.

The S&P 500 gained 59.88 points, or 1.11 per cent, to 5,459.10, while the Nasdaq Composite climbed 176.16 points, or 1.03 per cent, to 17,357.88. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 654.27 points, or 1.64 per cent, to 40,589.34.

On July 26, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) turned net buyers, purchasing equities worth Rs 2546 crore, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs) extended their buying, acquiring equities worth Rs 2774 crore.
