Market wrap: The benchmark indices concluded the trading day on a positive note!

About 2,121 stocks were advancing as against to 1,833 that were declining, thus indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

Market Update at 3:45 PM: On Wednesday, the market showed positive sentiment, with the Sensex trading up by 0.35 per cent touching 81,741.35 mark, while Nifty increased by 0.38 per cent breaking the level of 24,951.15 points.

Furthermore, the broader market showed mixed performance, with the Nifty Mid-cap closing up by 0.63 per cent and the Nifty Small-cap declined by 0.36 per cent.

Market volatility, as indicated by India VIX, has zoomed by 2.87 per cent, closing below 14 this is reflecting an increase in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Pharma and Nifty Media was among the top gainers while Nifty PSU Bank was the major sector which is underperformed.

Market Update at 2:25 PM: In the current trading session the benchmark indices trading on a positive note, with the Sensex trading up by 0.37 per cent touching 81,753 mark, while Nifty soared by 0.40 per cent breaking the level of 24,955.80 points.

Similarly, the broader indices Nifty Mid-cap soared by 0.73 per cent, while Nifty Small-cap rallied by 0.01 per cent.

India VIX has zoomed by 2.83 per cent, indicating an increase  in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Pharma and Nifty Media was among the top gainers while Nifty PSU Bank was the major sector which is underperformed.

About 2,092 stocks are advancing as against 1,799 stocks that are declining, thus indicating a negative sentiment in the broader market.

 

Market Update at 12:45 PM: In the current trading session benchmark indices have rallied with Sensex trading up by 0.25 per cent while Nifty has also increased by 0.29 per cent.

Additionally, in the broader indices, the Nifty Mid-cap soared by 0.79 per cent, while the Nifty Small-cap zoomed by 0.13 per cent.

India VIX is has zoomed by 3.13 per cent, indicating an increase in market volatility.

European stocks are poised to open on positive note on Monday, European futures DAX, CAC and FTSE traded higher by 0.81 per cent, 1.21 per cent and 1.26 per cent, respectively.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Pharma and Nifty Media was among the top gainers while Nifty PSU Bank was the major sector which is underperformed.

About 2,166 stocks are advancing as against to 1,669 stocks that are declining, thus indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

 

Market Update at 11:25 AM: In the ongoing trading session, Benchmark indices are trading on a positive note. Sensex soared by 0.27 per cent, while Nifty increased by 0.31 per cent.

In the broader indices, the Nifty Mid-cap experienced a rally of 0.74 per cent, while the Nifty Small-cap is up by 0.06 per cent.

India VIX is has zoomed by 3.65 per cent, indicating an increase in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Pharma and Nifty Media was among the top gainers while Nifty PSU Bank was the major sector which is underperformed.

The broader market sentiment is positive, with 2,143 stocks advancing compared to 1,519 stocks declining.

 

Market Update at 9:35 AM: On Tuesday, Indian markets opened trading session on a positive note. Similarly, the Broader indices also witnessed mixed sentiments.

The Sensex is trading higher at 0.12 per cent above the 81,552.85 mark while the Nifty has also soared by 0.14 per placed at 24,892.50 level.

Whereas, in the broader, the Nifty Mid-cap increased by 0.61 per cent trading below the 58,981.70 level and the Nifty Small-cap dipped by 0.07 per cent.

India VIX has zoomed by 2.53 per cent, indicating a slight increase in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Media and Nifty Metal was among the top gainers while Nifty Realty and Nifty Bank are the major sectors which is underperformed.

About 1,981 stocks were advancing as against to 1,108 that were declining, thus indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

Pre Market: Indian markets erased most gains and closed flat, tracking mixed global equities ahead of key rate decisions from the Bank of Japan and the United States Federal Reserve this week.

At close, the Sensex rose 0.12 per cent or 99.56 points, while the Nifty settled at 24,857.30, up 0.09 per cent or 21.2 points. During intraday trading, the Sensex gained 459 points, and the Nifty jumped 136 points.

The GIFT Nifty is trading flat, indicating a muted start for the day, with Nifty futures trading at 24,927.5.

In the U.S., the S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed lower on Tuesday, weighed down by weak chip and megacap shares ahead of earnings from major tech companies this week, while the Dow managed modest gains. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 203.40 points, or 0.5 per cent, to 40,743.33, the S&P 500 lost 27.10 points, or 0.5 per cent, to 5,436.44, and the Nasdaq Composite lost 222.78 points, or 1.28 per cent, to 17,147.42.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) extended their selling, offloading equities worth Rs 5,598 crore on July 30, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought equities worth Rs 5,565 crore on the same day.
