Market Wrap: Benchmark indices conclude the session with a strong finish, reaching fresh all-time highs!

On June 30, foreign institutional investors (FII) bought shares amounting to Rs 6,397.13 crore, while domestic institutional investors (DII) purchased shares worth Rs 1,197.64 crore.

Market Update at 3:45 PM: Sensex closes higher by 0.75 per cent after making an all-time high of 65,300. Similarly, Nifty closed higher by 0.7 per cent after making an all-time of 19,345.

Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap close higher by 0.25 per cent and 1.23 per cent respectively.

India VIX has surged by 6.85 per cent.

Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Energy and Nifty Metal were among the top gainers while Nifty Pharma, Nifty Auto and Nifty IT were among the top losers towards the end pf the day.

BPCL, Grasim and ITC were among the top gainers while Bajaj Auto, Power Grid and Sun Pharma were among the top losers from the Nifty 50.

About 1084 stocks were advancing as against to 831 stocks that were declining. Thus, indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Financial Services and Nifty Metal are among the top gainers while Nifty Pharma, Nifty Auto and Nifty IT are among the top losers.

About 1216 stocks are advancing as against to 756 stocks that are declining. Thus, indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

 

Market Update at 9:25 AM: Sensex trades higher by 0.53 per cent above 65,000 level while Nifty trades higher by 0.51 per cent above 19,200 level.

Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap trade higher by 0.42 per cent and 1.11 per cent respectively.

India VIX has surged by 6.3 per cent.

Nifty Financial Services, Nifty Auto and Nifty Metal are among the top gainers while Nifty Pharma, Nifty Realty and Nifty FMCG trades flat.

M&M, Ultra Cement and JSW Steel are among the top gainers while Power Grid, Axis Bank and Bajaj Auto are among the top losers from the Nifty 50.

About 1480 stocks are advancing as against to 411 stocks that are declining. Thus, indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

 

Pre-Market Update at 8:25 AM: The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed by 285.18 points, representing a 0.84 per cent increase, reaching 34,407.6. Similarly, the S&P 500 saw a gain of 53.94 points, reaching 4,450.38. Additionally, the Nasdaq Composite experienced an increase of 196.59 points, equivalent to 1.45 per cent, settling at 13,787.92.

Early in Asian trade on Monday, there was a decline in oil prices as Brent crude futures saw a decrease of 20 cents, equivalent to 0.3 per cent, settling at $75.21 per barrel. The Dollar index traded slightly higher at 102.98, while the value of one dollar hovered around Rs 82.04.

Monday's trading session is anticipated to begin with a flat start for the benchmark indices, as indicated by the Gift Nifty, with a modest gain of 15 points. The futures stood at a level of 19,360 points.
