Market Update: The benchmark indices concluded the trading day on a positive note!

About 2,121 stocks were advancing as against to 1,833 that were declining, thus indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

Market Update at 3:45 PM: On Tuesday, the market showed positive sentiment, with the Sensex trading touching 81,413.45 mark, while Nifty breaking the level of 24,840.90 points.

Furthermore, the broader market showed mixed performance, with the Nifty Mid-cap closing up by 0.63 per cent and the Nifty Small-cap declined by 0.36 per cent.

Market volatility, as indicated by India VIX is closing below 13 mark.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Pharma and Nifty Media was among the top gainers while Nifty PSU Bank was the major sector which is underperformed.

About 2,121 stocks were advancing as against to 1,833 that were declining, thus indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

 

Market Update at 2:25 PM: In the current trading session the benchmark indices trading on a positive note, with the Sensex trading up by 0.45 per cent touching 81,722 mark, while Nifty soared by 0.46 per cent breaking the level of 24,940 points.

Similarly, the broader indices Nifty Mid-cap soared by 0.60 per cent, while Nifty Small-cap rallied by 0.95 per cent.

India VIX has declined by 0.93 per cent, indicating significant decrease in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Energy and Nifty Realty was among the top gainers while Nifty Pharma and Nifty FMCG are the major sectors which is underperformed.

About 2,364 stocks are advancing as against 1,520 stocks that are declining, thus indicating a negative sentiment in the broader market.

 

Market Update at 12:45 PM: In the current trading session benchmark indices have rallied with Sensex trading up by 0.38 per cent while Nifty has also increased by 0.37 per cent.

Additionally, in the broader indices, the Nifty Mid-cap soared by 0.52 per cent, while the Nifty Small-cap zoomed by 0.91 per cent.

India VIX is has zoomed by 0.19 per cent, indicating an increase in market volatility.

European stocks are poised to open on positive note on Wednesday, European futures DAX and FTSE traded higher by 0.19 per cent and 0.21 per cent, respectively. In contrast to this, FTSE trade on negative note, declining by 0.41 per cent.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Energy and Nifty Realty was among the top gainers while Nifty Pharma and Nifty FMCG are the major sectors which is underperformed.

About 2,319 stocks are advancing as against to 1,493 stocks that are declining, thus indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

 

Market Update at 11:20 AM: In the ongoing trading session, Benchmark indices are trading on a positive note. Sensex soared by 0.34 per cent, while Nifty increased by 0.39 per cent.

In the broader indices, the Nifty Mid-cap experienced a rally of 0.63 per cent, while the Nifty Small-cap is up by 0.64 per cent.

India VIX is has zoomed by 0.42 per cent, indicating an increase in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Energy and Nifty Realty was among the top gainers while Nifty IT and Nifty FMCG are the major sectors which is underperformed.

The broader market sentiment is positive, with 2,331 stocks advancing compared to 1,429 stocks declining.

 

Market Update at 9:35 AM: On Tuesday, Indian markets opened trading session on a positive note. Similarly, the Broader indices also witnessed a positive rally.

The Sensex is trading higher at 0.08 per cent above the 81,422 mark while the Nifty has also soared by 0.10 per placed at 24,860.21 level.

Whereas, in the broader, the Nifty Mid-cap increased by 0.34 per cent trading below the 58,562.70 level and the Nifty Small-cap rallied by 0.66 per cent.

India VIX has zoomed by 0.75 per cent, indicating an slight increase in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Media and Nifty Energy was among the top gainers while Nifty Metal and Nifty IT are the major sectors which is underperformed.

About 2,065 stocks were advancing as against to 962 that were declining, thus indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

 

Pre Market: Markets started the trading week strongly, continuing the previous session's record run on July 29, 2024, with benchmarks reaching new all-time highs, led by banking stocks following strong earnings reported over the weekend.

At close, the Sensex was up 23.12 points or 0.03 per cent at 81,355.84, and the Nifty was up 0.01 points or 1.25 per cent at 24,836.10. The Nifty50 and BSE Sensex hit fresh record highs of 24,999.75 and 81,908.43, respectively.

The GIFT Nifty is trading lower, indicating a negative start for the day. Nifty futures were trading at 24,879.

The S&P 500 closed slightly higher after Monday's choppy trading session as investors awaited big technology company earnings, a Federal Reserve policy decision on interest-rate cuts, and key US labor data, all due this week.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 49.41 points, or 0.12 per cent at 40,539.93 while the S&P 500 rose 4.44 points, or 0.08 per cent, to 5,463.54. The Nasdaq Composite advanced 12.32 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 17,370.20.

On July 29, foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold equities worth Rs 2474 crore, while domestic institutional investors bought equities worth Rs 5665 crore.
