Market Update: The benchmark indices concluded the trading day on a negative note!

About 2,802 stocks were advancing as against to 1,094 that were declining, thus indicating a negative sentiment in the broader market.

Market Update at 3:45 PM: On Thursday, the market showed muted sentiment. The benchmark indices concluded the trading day on a negative note, with the Sensex dipped by 0.14 per cent to 80,039.80, while the Nifty dropped by 0.03 per cent to 24,406.10.

Furthermore, the broader market declined, with the Nifty Mid-cap closing down by 0.23 per cent and the Nifty Small-cap plunged by 0.27 per cent.

Market volatility, as indicated by India VIX, has reduced by 7.27 per cent, closing below 13 this is reflecting an increase in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape, Nifty Energy and Nifty Auto are among the top gainers while Nifty Bank, Nifty Metal and Nifty Realty are among the top losers.

Market Update at 12:45 PM: In the current trading session benchmark indices have declined with Sensex trading lower by 0.23 per cent while Nifty has also dipped by 0.14 per cent.

Additionally, in the broader indices, the Nifty Mid-cap experienced a decline of 0.13 per cent, while the Nifty Small-cap plunged by 0.23 per cent.

India VIX is has soared by 9.48 per cent, indicating an increase in market volatility.

European stocks are poised to open on positive note on Thursday, European futures DAX, CAC and FTSE trade lower by 1.02 per cent, 1.46 per cent and 0.73 per cent respectively.

Within the sectoral landscape, Nifty Media and Nifty Energy are among the top gainers while Nifty Bank, Nifty Metal and Nifty Realty are among the top losers.

About 2,665 stocks are advancing as against to 1,102 stocks that are declining, thus indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

 

Market Update at 11:35 AM: In the ongoing trading session, Benchmark indices are trading on a muted note. Sensex plunged by 0.33 per cent, while Nifty dipped by 0.24 per cent.

In the broader indices, the Nifty Mid-cap experienced a decline of 0.01 per cent, while the Nifty Small-cap dipped by 0.27 per cent.

India VIX is has rallied by 9.35 per cent, indicating a significant increase in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape, Nifty Media and Nifty Energy are among the top gainers while Nifty Bank, Nifty FMCG and Nifty Bank are among the top losers.

The broader market sentiment is positive, with 2,000 stocks advancing compared to 1,735 stocks declining.

 

Market Update at 9:35 AM: On Thursday, Indian markets opened trading session on a negative note. Similarly, the Broader indices also displayed muted performance.

The Sensex is trading lower at 0.49 per cent above the 79,758.40 mark while the Nifty has also dipped by 0.48 per placed at 24,295.45 level.

Whereas, in the broader, the Nifty Mid-cap soared by 0.50 per cent trading below the 56,590 level and the Nifty Small-cap rallied by 0.98 per cent.

India VIX has soared by 4.59 per cent, indicating an increase in market volatility.

Within the sectoral landscape Nifty Media and Nifty FMCG was among the top gainers while Nifty Bank and Nifty Metal are the major sectors which is underperformed.

About 1,599 stocks are advancing as against to 1,495 stocks that are declining, thus indicating a positive sentiment in the broader market.

 

Pre Market: Indian benchmark indices saw profit booking for the fourth consecutive session on July 24, with Nifty falling below 24,450, mainly driven by banking stocks.

At close, the Sensex was down 280.16 points, or 0.35 per cent, at 80,148.88, and the Nifty was down 65.50 points, or 0.27 per cent, at 24,413.50.

The GIFT Nifty is trading lower, indicating a negative start for the day. Nifty futures were trading at 24,409.50. 

Wall Street's main indexes ended slightly lower on Tuesday, giving up modest intraday gains in the final minutes of trading as investors focused on the latest earnings from Alphabet and Tesla.

The S&P 500 lost 8.67 points, or 0.16 per cent, to 5,555.74 points, while the Nasdaq Composite lost 10.22 points, or 0.06 per cent, to 17,997.35. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 57.35 points, or 0.14 per cent, to 40,358.09.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) turned net sellers on July 23, selling equities worth Rs 2975 crore, while domestic institutional investors bought equities worth Rs 1418 crore on the same day.
