Market Movers: Here are today’s high-volume buzzers!

Investors were drawn to these stocks with increased trading volumes in a recovery market moves; do you own them?

Indian benchmark indices opened on a strong note on Thursday, tracking gains in Asian markets and buoyed by U.S. President Donald Trump's temporary tariff reprieve on automobile imports from Mexico and Canada.

However, the equity indices could not hold the gains and slipped to negative territory.

At 10:00 AM, Sensex was down 75 points, or 0.11 per cent, at the 73,658 level, while Nifty also dropped by 22 points, 0.10 per cent. Similarly, Nifty Mid-Cap traded higher by 250 points or  0.51 per cent, while Nifty Small-Cap also held yesterday’s gains, surging by 140 points or 0.92 per cent.

Top Volume Buzzers of the Day
The stock market witnessed significant volume activity in select stocks today, with some counters trading at multiple times their average two-week volume. The surge in trading volumes indicates heightened investor interest, which could be attributed to fundamental developments, technical breakouts, or broader market sentiment. Here is a detailed analysis of the top volume buzzers of the day.

Jyothy Labs 
Jyothy Labs recorded a sharp increase in trading volume, reaching 8.15 lakh shares compared to its two-week average of 0.23 lakh shares, marking a volume change of 35.67 times. The turnover for the day stood at Rs 26.91 crore. The stock is trading at Rs 329.15, reflecting a marginal gain of Rs 0.40 or 0.12 per cent. The increased volume suggests heightened market activity, though the price movement remained muted, indicating possible accumulation at current levels.

Campus Activewear 
Campus Activewear saw an extraordinary surge in trading volume, with 50.22 lakh shares changing hands against a two-week average of 1.66 lakh shares. This represents a 30.21 times increase in volume. The total turnover for the stock stood at Rs 129.83 crore. The stock is trading at Rs 261.95, gaining Rs 1.15 or 0.44 per cent. The strong volume surge with a moderate price increase could indicate institutional interest or technical positioning.

Route Mobile 
Route Mobile also featured among the top volume buzzers, with a trading volume of 0.82 lakh shares, a significant jump from its two-week average of 0.13 lakh shares, reflecting a 6.10 times rise. The stock generated a turnover of Rs 8.97 crore. It is trading at Rs 1,074.00, gaining Rs 71.35 or 7.12 per cent. The substantial price movement along with volume expansion suggests strong buying interest, possibly driven by positive corporate developments or technical breakouts.
