Market Movers: Adani Green, Solara Active Pharma and Lemon Tree Hotels rally in today's session
Adani Green rallies 8.4 per cent to hit a fresh 52 week high at Rs 2094.40
Thursday being the weekly expiry saw weakness amid some volatility. Benchmark Indices BSE Sensex after a positive start closed 105 points or 0.2 per cent lower at 57892.01, while Nifty 50 lost 18 points or 0.1 per cent to close at 17304.60 following weak global clues and rise in crude prices at USD 94 per barrel.
In the broader market, BSE Midcap closed at 23964.86 while BSE Smallcap ended in red at 27972.45. BSE 500 also ended in red with a loss of 33 points at 23477.59
Solara Active Pharma, Adani Green Energy and Lemon Tree Hotels were buzzing in today’s session.
Solara Active Pharma Sciences soared 10 per cent today after rallying 8.11 per cent in yesterday’s session. The stock closed at today’s intraday high of Rs 734.30. It had previously nosedived losing a massive 45 per cent in one month after which it has gained 18 per cent in the last 2 sessions.
Adani Green Energy rallied 8.4 per cent with an intraday high and low of Rs 2094.40 and Rs 1930.95. Adani group stocks were rallying in today’s session led by Adani Green which has soared 10 per cent this week closing at Rs 2047.80 in today’s session, with a gain of 6.02 per cent.
Lemon Tree Hotels rallied 5.71 per cent in today’s session. The stock closed at Rs 52.80 with an intraday high and low of Rs 54 and Rs 49.90. As the prospects of the hospitality sector look brighter after the near halt in the pandemic, the stock has been in action for the last three trading sessions logging a gain of 11 per cent.
